interregnum


they're having so much fun they achieve weightlessness--utter unself-consciousness this is like joe jackson talking about the cure for gravity. variations on a theme, obviously.

now we're going out for sushi. it's less a matter of 'can we afford to' than 'can we afford not to.' again, these are the moments.

i'm in several long email conversations with people about my political future at my university. it's strange how these things develop. the greatest virtue is sheer tenacity - stick around long enough and you write your own cheques. and again, it is not a meritocracy. i spend a lot of my time on the political analysis of my campus - there is a future in this, but it is very strange and twisted.
